The International Women’s Day, celebrated every year on 8 March, is themed ‘Make it happen’ this year. The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) pays particular attention towards ensuring gender equality and progress for all. Through its Livelihoods, Gender and Impact (LGI) program and in collaboration with other programs, ILRI is working toward identifying promising technological, organizational and institutional innovations and assessing their likely impact on both women and men.

To mark this year’s celebrations, we share selected outputs that demonstrate how ILRI is making it happen for women. View a Storify collection of blog posts, publications and videos highlighting gender in agricultural development research at ILRI.
