Petra Abdulsalam-Saghir joins ILRI’s Poverty, Gender and Impact group

Petra Saghir-Abdulsalam, ILRI Poverty, Gender and Impact AWARD Fellow Petra Abdulsalam-Saghir Joins the ILRI’sPoverty, Gender and Impact. Petra joins the team from the  Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria where she is lecturer.

She is an AWARD Fellow and will be attached to the Poverty, Gender and Impact Team for the next 9 months. She has a Ph.D in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development with Gender and Rural Development as her area of specialization. In Nigeria, she is also a gender specialist for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded Project-Cassava: Adding Value for Africa (C: AVA). Her most current publication is with the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP/ EU (CTA) entitled C:AVA : Gender and Diversity as a Driving Force. Petra will be working mainly on the Gender and Assets Project.
